Meet Susan Buckingham

When families face one of life's most difficult transitions, they need someone who understands both the legal process and the emotional impact of conflict. Susan Buckingham brings both. For more than two decades, Susan has helped parents, couples, and families navigate divorce, child custody, parenting plans, relocation disputes, co-parenting conflicts, and high-conflict family situations.

Her background as a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) gives her a unique understanding of family systems, child development, trauma, communication, and conflict resolution. As a Florida Supreme Court Certified Family Mediator, she helps clients move beyond arguments and toward lasting agreements that work in the real world.

Susan believes mediation should never be about "winning." Instead, it should empower families to make informed decisions that reduce conflict, protect children, and avoid unnecessary litigation whenever possible. She is known for her calm presence, practical guidance, and ability to help even high-conflict parties communicate productively.
